DKT announces that as of April 1st 2007 to have taken over Danlab Electronics A/S. Jointly the two companies will be a significant player in both Scandinavian and the European market for coaxial networks, FTTX networks and HFC (Hybrid, Fibre Coax) installations and we look forward to a continues co-operation with customers and distributors.
It is with great pleasure that I can announce, that DKT A/S from the first of April 2007 has taken over DANLAB ELECTRONICS A/S. With the two companies combined we will be strongly positioned on both the Scandinavian and the European markets for coaxial networks, HFC systems (Hybrid Fibre Coax) and FTTX networks.
DKT has successfully sold DANLAB´s products in Sweden and Finland for a number of years, and we therefore posses a thorough knowledge of this product range. The high quality coaxial and opticalproducts complement our range of optical fibre based products in the important area of optical nodes for HFC and FTTX systems, where multiple subscribers are connected via the same fibre.
The advantages regarding the take-over are e.g. that experience and thorough knowledge of coaxial networks, HFC systems and FTTX networks will be joined in one company, which will create more opportunities for coaxial and fibre optical network solutions. At the same time the organisation will be stronger both financially and administratively.
Brian Nielsen and Dorte Skovgaard will be integrated into DKT’s sales department and will help to ensure the quality of sales, support and marketing. Furthermore our technical R&D department will be strengthened with extra resources, which will ensure the technical support and further development of the combined product range. With these measures we can assure our current and future customers a continued high level of service.
